Terms and Conditions of Subscription Service

ProtectPipe Turva+ Preventive Sewer Treatment Service Subscription. These Terms and Conditions apply to the chargeable subscriptions offered by ProtectPipe Oy. In these Terms “Customer” refers to the person subscribing to the Service.

Subscription Options

Customer can choose the duration of the Fixed Term Subscription Service. We offer Fixed Term Agreements of 1 month, 1 year and 5 years.

Payment Methods and Subscription Periods

Fixed Term Subscription is valid for the agreed period of time. Lifetime Subscription is valid permanently without renewals until it is terminated.

Inception, Validity and Duration of the Agreement

The agreement becomes valid when the Customer has received a order confirmation or a contract for the online purchase of the Service.

The duration of the Fixed Term Subscription is as stated on the order confirmation or contract.

After the agreed duration of the Fixed Term Subscription has ended the agreement will continue as an Indefinite Subscription at the then-current Monthly Subscription rate.

Terminating the Agreement

Fixed Term Subscription can be terminated at the end of the fixed term.

If the Customer wants to cancel a Fixed Term Subscription without any spesific reason, ProtectPipe will invoice the Customer for the monthly amount due, as per the agreement, until the end of the fixed term.

In case of a social force majeure, the Customer has a right to terminate a Fixed Term Subscription. The Customer is obliged to prove the exsistence of a social force majeure and provide ProtectPipe with a written report of the grounds for termination of the agreement.

Customer can terminate an Indefinite Subscription by contacting ProtectPipe’s Customer Service.

The agreement will be terminated at the end of the already paid billing period provided that the termination notice has been given at least 5 working days prior to the end of the present billing period.

In case the termination notice is given less than 5 working days prior to the end of the present billing period or after the end of the present billing period, the subscription and payment obligation will continue until the end of the following billing period.

ProtectPipe will seek to handle the termination notice in less than 5 working days but cannot guarantee it. ProtectPipe can terminate the Customer’s subscription by notifying the Customer via email.

ProtectPipe will not return any payments already made.

Payment Terms and Delays

The monthly fee of Fixed Term Subscription will be automatically processed on the 1st day of each month from the credit or debit card provided by the Customer, unless the Customer is notified otherwise at the time of making the order.

The Customer will not be charged at the time of making the order. The 1st Monthly Fee will be automatically processed on the 1st day of the following month. The processing date of the 1st Monthly Fee is stated on the order confirmation. The Customer is responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary funds in order for the payment to be automatically processed.

In case the automatic payment from the debit or credit card provided by the Customer is declined or returned, the online payment platform will try to process the unsuccessful payment again 1 to 4 times. In case the payment cannot be processed within one (1) week of the processing date, ProtectPipe will change the payment method to invoicing.

Invoicing

Invoice will be sent to the email provided by the Customer. The invoice needs to be paid by the due date stated in the invoice with the correct reference and bank account numbers.

Any complaints concerning the invoice need to be delivered in writing by the due date. The undisputed part of the payment must be paid despite of the complaint.

If the Customer does not pay the invoice by the due date, ProtectPipe has the right to use a third party collection agency and terminate the subscription. In case ProtectPipe has sent payment reminders or carried out collection processes before the bill has been paid, the Customer is obliged to pay the recovery costs according to the law.

Service Delivery

ProtectPipe will deliver the Service according to the Subscription Agreement. The Service will be delivered on the 1st day of each month and the delivery time is about 2 to 5 working days. The delivery date may differ from the expected date of arrival.

Cancellation Policy

Fixed Term Subscription cannot be terminated before the end date of the agreed fixed term. Due to the Customer agreeing to the fixed term and the Terms and Conditions of the Subscription Service, the Customer is obliged to pay the fees according to the duration of the agreed fixed term.

Standard return policy for ecommerce stores is 14 days from the purchase day. According to the Consumer Protection Act Chapter 6 Section 16 the Customer has no right to cancel the order after it has been delivered if the sealed product has been opened or if the product cannot be returned due to health or hygiene reasons.

Subscription Rates

Subscription Rates are based on the then-current rates. Subscription Rates are displayed on ProtectPipe’s website at www.protectpipe.fi/en/shop

ProtectPipe reserves the right to change the Rates, Terms and Conditions of the Subscription Service. The Customer will be notified of any changes via email and online at www.protectpipe.fi/en/shop or in another corresponding way. The changes will come into effect at the announced time and they apply to all subscriptions.

Changes to the Terms of Use are notified in a way described in the Terms and Conditions.

Changes in Subscription Rates

Customer will be notified in writing of any changes in Subscription Rates at the beginning of the following billing period. The Customer has the right to terminate the agreement by notifying ProtectPipe’s Customer Service at least 5 working days prior the end of the present billing period.

Laws, regulations, official directives or other corresponding factors leading to changes in Subscription Rates or Terms and Conditions will be effective immediately without prior notice and they are applied to all subscriptions.

Privacy Policy

ProtectPipe will process Customers’ personal data in compliance with Privacy Policy, the Personal Data Act and data protection principles specified in data protection legislation.

Reclamations

Concerning Reclamations or Complaints the Customer can contact Customer Service via www.protectpipe.fi/en/contact-us

In dispute matters the Customer may contact the Consumer Disputes Board to handle the complaint.
